Young Couple Exposed to Slander On Facebook For Being Gay

Young Couple Exposed to Slander On Facebook For Being Gay

The Issue

A young gay couple in Malaysia, one still a teenager, had their picture stolen and used without permission on a facebook page.
https://www.facebook.com/mediaislamic
Furthermore, they link to a personal blog belonging to gay teens, which has been hacked and covered in hate speech.
I want Facebook to remove the photo/posting from the which has incited the controversy and massive public slander of two innocent teen victims.
The picture, when coupled with a prayer in Malaysian which translates to: "God, return them to the Rightful Path. With Your Permission, they're together but Please return them to the Rightful Path if You Allow It.. Amen" drew attraction from literally thousands of facebook users on November 15th. Mostly in Malay, people went wild with hate speech and condemning, insulting comments towards the young teenagers featured in the photo. This is an entirely inappropriate post both due to the emotional harm it can inflict on these young boys and other gays who view, and due to the careless violation of their privacy. Having their photo shared on facebook, thus forcefully "outing" them, puts them at a high risk in a country where homosexuality is intolerable and even sometimes punished.
Please help me show support by defending these cyberbullying victims, let me show them that we care about them!
