Police officer Derek Chauvin wrongfully and intentionally murdered 46 year old George Floyd Monday evening, May 25th 2020. Chauvin was also linked to two other police brutality incidences in 2008 and 2006. In the video of him murduring George Floyd with full force and intention he failed in so many ways to “protect and serve” and I fact threatened an EMT professional with pepper spray, trying to save Floyd.

Okay so they took away Chauvin’s authority after he physically suffocated a man to death with full intention, but he still gets to live? Receiving a punishment, a large fraction of America is  also enduring during this pandemic? It is a complete injustice that this person is not in jail, and only because of his authority. George Floyd was peeled off the ground and had been unconscious for almost 4 minutes and not receiving any steady oxygen for over 10 minutes (the most a human can survive without, is 4). He was begging for air and his mom multiple times, with the expectation of the worst. They were mocking him by telling him to get in the car, and off the ground with full force weight on his neck, lower back, and legs. The bystanders were expressing their concern many times telling them “he’s unconscious”, “he’s not moving”, “he’s bleeding out of his nose” and police choosing to continue with their actions of suffocation ending in his wrongful death.

I not only believe Derek Chauvin should go to prison, but the 3 other police officers protecting and helping him get away with murder. It is appalling to think, first of all, they had any authority in the first place, and second, that their authority is what’s keeping them out of prison and letting them get away with they’re cruel act. I ask anyone that cares for ending America’s corrupt justice system, and the injustice of police brutality against the African American race, to sign this petition to put the cops that killed George Floyd, away. I hope for people to see how disturbing this situation is, and many other previlant police brutality incidents that still occur in our current time. We need to make a change, it is 2020 racism cannot continue.
