VOTE YES to Keep The RWBB Detour Signs

The Issue

The town has determined RWBB detour signs are unnecessary, due to the inconvenience of travel for community members. Our town is not very big and we block off the road for no longer than 15 min a day from the months of Sept-June. The town has proposed we use the north side of the school and east side for school bus pick up which parents will loose those areas for parking. They have also proposed to put in a sidewalk on those streets and add a cross walk on main and second. All of these ideas will cost thousands of dollars, when our detour signs cost nothing and are 100% effective. RWBB has over 400 kids and our goal is to always keep them safe. Why change something that works 100%. Again we are a small town, we aren't a big city it takes maybe two more minutes to take another road out of town. We are trying to work with the community and on behalf of the school. Please if you support us in trying to keep our detour signs, sign our petition. Thank you from your RWBB Parent Advisory Council.
