We are Natalia and Pavel Cherkashin, proud residents of Los Altos and parents to four wonderful children who are part of the local education system. Our city is currently seeking innovative ideas to transform local pre-school education facilities into a financially stable and locally relevant operation. With this in mind, we propose the establishment of YEC.LA (Young Educator's Club, Los Altos), a new type of learning experience for children and parents alike.

Our vision is to create an environment that combines traditional Montessori methods with an opportunity for young educators to grow professionally. This unique approach not only provides quality early childhood education but also fosters a community where budding educators can thrive.

However, we need your support in making this vision become reality. By collecting open recommendation letters from local residents like you, we can demonstrate strong community backing for our proposal when presenting it before the City Council.

In America today, there are over 20 million children under 5 years old (U.S Census Bureau), many of whom could benefit immensely from innovative educational approaches like ours.
