Henry Barnet email to the Townhouse folks this a.m & my reply

Mike,Thanks for ALL your efforts in a myriad of capacities. We are a better community for them.
Speaking of a better community, those who continue to harp on the future of the existing clubhouse are doing us ALL a dis-service and the sooner they wake up to this fact the sooner we can remove one major source of dissension. To those who feel we need democracy here, try passing a piece of legislation in Congress without the "House of Representatives".
Barbara and I feel strongly that we must move forward asap with the Sports Center to be followed soon thereafter with a new clubhouse. Of course it is a lot of money but it is what is needed to restore YARCOBR to the premier community on the beaches of Boca Raton.

Sheryl Puckett's Reply to Hank's email:
You are not the first person who has cast aspersions. I've heard stories of shunning from a gentleman in "I" building and have had veiled threats, Jory's reply to me comes to mind, the thing is since when has it become a crime to question authority or better yet how someone else spends my money? Let me quote President Jory. "Your casual disparagement of such respected Volunteer Representatives will be noted in the Community."
Hank, how will this be noted in the community? Does he mean I will be shunned, or not allowed to use the hot tub? Although granted, he found my email egregious, as a Club President, he should have simply replied, "Thank you for your concern." Period.
One must wonder why so much effort is made to discourage voting at both the local and national level. The fact is we are not Congress representing millions of people.
I respect your desire to have a new facility but please respect my desire to deal with our existing clubhouse whether to remodel it or tear it down and rebuild where it is.
