"We have been here for over 35 years. This place is just AMAZING and has so much to offer. Much has changed over that time and I really believe that some Club by-law rule changes are long overdue.

First, and this has been brought up several times to the Club Board, is the need to, at least limit the amount of spend that the Club Board can approve. The Club Board, with it’s approval, has unlimited spending power.

As Owners, we have NO real vote and this is not democratic. Yes, we can voice our concerns to our Club Building Reps. BUT if the Club Board decides to move ahead they have ALL the power. Yes, I know it is hard to get a majority of the Owners to participate and to vote on anything BUT a new rule can be written that a voting majority of the Owner’s should be allowed to vote for or against any significant capital outlay.

A cap on Club Board approval power of $1,000,000.00 seems reasonable to handle most Club outlays. Anything over 1M, the Owners should have the right to decide how their money is spent"
