We are pleased to announce that we have:

OVER 200 LOCAL RESIDENTS SIGN THE PETITION IN SUPPORT OF OPTION C! ....and they are NOT HAPPY WITH LABOR SPENDING MORE THAN $80M MORE!

We need the Yan Yean Upgrade Stage 2 to commence BUT:

• The spending is an ADDITIONAL $80m (yes $80m MORE!) with the complex design
• 6+ Ancient River Red Gums that are just as old as the other 2 beautiful ones are being cut down
• Extra land from Owners is being “acquired” at below market rates
• Businesses will be hidden from view of passersby and will close down
  •    Jobs will be LOST
  •    Homes will be LOST
  •    Family Relationships will be BROKEN
  •    MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES will be on the rise
• Easy access into the Businesses is being removed
• Reduced access will cause increased traffic in side streets as drivers will be forced into backstreets
• Our sporting Ovals and Tennis Courts are going to be lost
• We love your beautiful area but BEWARE IT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE - FOR THE WORSE!

This is all because, for some reason, Option B was chosen.

Option C was the best choice to help with ALL OF THE ABOVE

We urge you to sign the petition so that the road can be designed the in right way and finally start.
