BEIJING — “In China, it is legal to eat cats and dogs. Even so, ordinary people reacted with alarm this week as news broke of a Chinese man caught with 500 cats, crowded into tiny cages, which he intended to sell to restaurants.” These are not my words, though it is disgusting that they allow this nonsense to happen in China! Cats and dogs are beautiful creatures, they have lives to. In my opinion it is acceptable to eat cows, pigs, or fish. But cats and dogs? That is not right! It should be a law in China that you cannot eat cats nor dogs in China. “Cats are not commonly eaten in most parts of China but restaurants, particularly in the south, continue to serve the animal as food. The country does not have any laws to protect non-endangered animals.” Cats and dogs have lives too. I don’t understand how ANYBODY could eat one of these beautiful creatures. “It is completely wrong to eat cats or dogs! What monsters!” Says my friend, (unnamed as her choice)
