The XFL is trying to erase Los Angeles's rich history of XFL football by naming the new franchise the "Wildcats" and not using our city's original team name "LA Xtreme". 

The Xtreme are objectively the greatest team in the history of the XFL winning all of the league's one championships. Who can forget Tommy Maddox holding up the trophy in front of a wild crow of 24,153 at the LA Memorial Coliseum as the Xtreme won the first XFL title against the 6-6 San Francisco Demons in 2001? What a game it was on that brisk April night watching the Xtreme kicker Jose Cortez put four through the uprights on his way to winning the game's MVP award.

This memory is one of the greatest sports moments in Los Angeles history up there with Kirk Gibson's World Series home run and Kobe's 81 point game. For some reason the suits at the XFL are trying to erase that. It's time for the residents of Los Angeles and XFL fans around the globe to stand up and demand LA get it's rightful team name back.
