The head of the council, Katrina Wood, has just replied to my email informing her of the petition. She wished to clarify the council's goals, which were already known to me and displayed in the statement about the petition. To specify, this has not been implemented yet, and there are other penalties for things such as skateboarding and graffiti, however I responded confirming our issue was solely with the fining of the homeless. This is a preventative method, and hopefully if the petition keeps thriving we can remove the plan. Thank you so much for all your support, you guys rock! Laura
