Requesting that Ancestry.com stops labelling Horn Of African cluster *Southeastern Bantu*

The Issue

Lately more and more people have been mislead by the services provided by Ancestry.com. They have created a confusion in the public by labelling Horn Of African cluster DNA either *South Eastern Bantu* or *North African* or *Middle Eastern*.

To people who have no understanding for how scientific population genetics work will take these results as truth despite the error and the falsity behind them.

For example it is well-known enough in the field of population genetics that Somalis are not the product of a recent Peninsula Arabian mixture with East African natives, in fact most Somalis don't at all display any Peninsula Arabian or Southern Eastern Bantu ancestry whatsoever whether in terms of their Haplogroup markers which are centered very comfortably in the Horn of Africa or in terms of their autosomal DNA where they actually seem more genetically isolated than since they show no West Asian.

Thus they are misinforming the public about their alleged ancestry. The error lies in the fact that Ancestry.com doesn't have any Horn of African reference samples. So people from the Horn of Africa get divided up into part Southern Eastern Bantu part North African and part Middle Eastern . Which is completely unscientific and invalid.

By providing false results to the public Ancestry.com are exploiting their own costumers/users trust who are giving money to seek out accurate representation of their ethnic make up and ancestry.

So we request for Horn Of African ancestry/cluster is relabeled and gets reassigned to its own separate group.
