WV Family Court Reform:End Corruption and Rights Violations in West Virginia Family Courts
The Issue
My personal experience with the family court system in West Virginia has opened my eyes to the rampant corruption and rights violations committed by judges. This is not just my story, but a reality for countless families who are drastically affected by these injustices. False allegations against fathers are common, leading to broken homes and emotional trauma for children and parents involved. The system seems more interested in profiting from our pain than delivering justice.
The need for family court lawyers only adds to the financial burden of families already grappling with separation or divorce. It's time we abolish this requirement and make justice accessible to all, irrespective of their financial status.
According to a report by the National Parents Organization, shared parenting after divorce or separation is associated with better outcomes for children (National Parents Organization). Yet, our courts often overlook this fact due to false allegations and biased judgments.
We demand transparency in our family courts. We want an end to rights violations committed by judges who should be held accountable for their actions. We call on lawmakers in West Virginia to take immediate action against these practices that ruin families rather than protect them.
Please sign this petition if you believe that every child deserves fair treatment from our legal system and every parent deserves a chance at justice without being bankrupted by legal fees.
