End the Crimson Pathway Graduation Requirement at WSUV

End the Crimson Pathway Graduation Requirement at WSUV
The Issue
One requirement in order to graduate from Washington State University is to complete the Crimson Pathway requirements. These requirements put a strain on students who are already stressed out by their classwork, jobs, internships etc. The requirements which include attending several events, completing projects, and doing an online "class" called Exploring Your Potential, are extremely time-consuming and are unnecessary. Every single student I have surveyed so far has said that they either haven't started, have barely started, or aren't planning on completing the Crimson Pathway requirements. This means that they won't be able to graduate, even though they might complete are the credit requirements. Forcing students to attend events isn't productive, as they are there just to complete the requirements. These events only benefit students who actually want to be there. We want to put an end to the Crimson Pathway requirement. Sign this petition to help bring this issue to the attention of University decision-makers.
