We the Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Atheist and all communities of all beliefs and backgrounds believe that Dr. Ahmed Elkoussa was wrongfully terminated on all grounds of the law and society. Dr. Ahmed Elkoussa was wrongfully terminated by CG Smiles in Florida for practicing his rights as an American Citizen given to him by law enforcement by removing posters which he felt were insightful to his community after hearing of 6 year old Wadea al fayoume’s murder in Illinois (the community in which Dr. Elkoussa was born in). His employer at CG had refused to hear Dr. Elkoussa’s side of the story and intent before publicly aiding in twisting the truth in his intent. Dr. Elkoussa has provided evidence where he attempted to cooperate with the business and also prove his good intent to de-escalate the rising hate crimes towards muslims and jews. Since Dr. Elkoussa’s actions, hate crimes pertaining to Islamophobia and antisemitism have been at a record high by those aiding in gaslighting hate such as CG Smiles, as well as others suppressing and manipulating the practice of freedom of speech in ways that have been intended to de-escalate violence at home and abroad. 

We, the international community, call for the reinstatement for Dr. Elkoussa as an imperative measure to showcase the importance of uniting and not allowing such injustice in the law to take place. As per Dr. Elkoussa’s contract, the business had wrongfully terminated him and misrepresented him with false light in a despicable way which we do not approve of. It is imperative that we take action in demanding his reinstatement as a symbol of equality regardless of race, religious beliefs, or background. Dr. Ahmed Elkoussa’s actions stem from an advocacy of human rights, peace, and an absolute intolerance to escalation of violence worldwide. A genocide is a genocide and hate crimes at home are none the less hate crimes, regardless towards any community or people of its labeled origin. Calling for an absolute ceasefire and and end to this genocide and hatecrimes occuring can only be strengthened by uniting as one against the injustices we face at home such as the atrocious targeting of successful professionals like Dr. Ahmed Elkoussa. Dr. Elkoussa’s truth was widely misrepresented and grossly manipulated by the media after his previous employer (CG Smiles) showcased pure prejudice and refused to hear him from the onset of the 4 second viral clip.
