This petition represents the views of the many residents who want to see The Plough Inn re-open and who support the Wrington Parish Council's application to register it as a community asset.

The Plough has been one of our vital village venues for over 100 years, and provides a place that many individuals and organisations use on a regular basis.  We go to there to relax, meet our friends for a drink, and much much more.  It has for decades provided great  hospitality , supported and hosted lots of events such as the Dickensian Fayre and been the regular meeting place for lots of varied groups in the village.  It has had parties, weddings and wakes and put on live music and quizzes. It is the home for our boules league and the restuarant has had an excellent reputation not only with local residents but much further afield.

We wish to see the plough re-open soon but also to remain as one of our treasured village assets for many more years to come and to help ensure this we ask North Somerset Council to register it as a Community Asset.
