For years morning shows have owned the airwaves of nearly all radio stations in the Philadelphia area before 11am with the exception of our favorite alternative station, Radio 104.5 (now Alt 104.5). 

As of the summer of 2020, that is no longer the case. After weeks of their promotional posts being met with listener backlash, they enlisted The Woody Show to take over the airwaves from 6am to 10am. 

The Woody Show, which was requested by nobody, is based in San Francisco and has removed the beloved DJ/host Johnny from the morning program.

Apparently the relentless comments on their Facebook posts are garnering no attention so it’s time to take one last action before taking our listenership elsewhere....like WMMR’s LOCAL Preston and Steve show for example. Let’s show that a majority of their listeners want The Woody Show OUT! 

P.S. The new branding is underwhelming, and it’s be nice to hear more than 25 songs a day on repeat...just saying.
