WorldStarHipHop.com and Mediatakeout.com: Stop posting videos of violence and hypersexuality amongst youth
WorldStarHipHop and MediaTakeOut are widely popular amongst black youth and have a tremendous influence on our youth. Yet instead of keeping us informed and enlightened, they use this platform to highlight the worst about our community. In almost every cellphone recorded fight, someone is yelling out "I'm putting this on World Star!" People are dying, being beaten, humiliated, embarrassed all for the hopes of receiving negative reinforcement online.
We call for these media outlets to stop promoting violence and underage sexuality, period. If this doesn't happen, we wil call for the boycott of all artist, companies and products that advertise with Mediatakeout and World Star Hip Hop.

Stop posting videos of violence and hypersexuality amongst youth. We are tired of your websites glorifying the worst behavior in our community and giving people a platform to the perpetuation of stereotypes, exploitation of women and indifference to crime and brutality.
You are either knowingly or unknowingly desensitizing our youth into thinking that this type of abberent violence is normal. Instead of raising citizens who step in and help, we are breeding a mob of people who are numb to violence and will use a cell phone to record a viral video instead of calling for help and/or intervening.
So on behalf of black mothers, aunts, cousins, grandmothers and god mothers; and in honor of all of the Derrion Alberts and Amber Coles we respectfully submit to you to stop promoting violence and hyper-sexuality of our youth.
If this doesn't happen, we will aggressively call for the boycott of all artist, companies and products that advertise with Mediatakeout.com and WorldStarHipHop.
