China markets are still selling bats and slaughtering rabbits on blood-soaked floors as Beijing celebrates 'victory' over the coronavirus, says an article reported on a mail on Sunday correspondent.
Even the outbreak of coronavirus has not properly been quarantined, The People Of China has reopened "wet markets" - selling bats, pangolins and dogs for human consumption.
Scientists believe that the move is dangerous as Covid-19 causing coronavirus first lurked in a bat in China and hopped to another animal, before getting passed on to humans.
Various reports suggest that a 55-year-old man from China's Hubei province could have been the first person to have contracted Covid-19 through one such "wet market". Says an article published on NDTV.com under the World News section
The Daily Mail report further investigates and says:-

Now, after a dramatic fall in infection rates within China, the Beijing government is promoting conspiracy theories that the outbreak did not begin in China at all. A discredited story, shared widely on China's Weibo social media platform, claims coronavirus was first detected in Italy in November.
