The United States of America has entered a tumultuous time. Partisan politics have distorted the view of one's fellow countrymen, and more and more the proud members of a thriving and diverse nation feel their fundamental rights to live a prosperous and free life are threatened by the specter of fear and uncertainty cast from across the aisle. Left and right, old and young, man and woman, race and race, all seem to be against one another, working to undermine the other in the name of their own prosperity. 

This is no small issue our country faces, and it is one without a quick and easy soution. Many feel they know how to resolve these issues, only to step on the rights and dignity of another. I do not claim to offer a way to fix the divide, buy as a concerned citizen of this fair land I offer to you an idea. Bold on its scope but simple in its excecution, I offer the nation a chance to rectify one of its oldest and bitter schisms. 

Many citizens refer to Lampyridae as a Lightning Bug. Others will call it a Firefly. The American psyche has had this fundamental rift burn into its psyche. And why? Why must we draw such a frivolous line? Why must so many of our dearest and best fight tooth and nail for the name given to a hapless bug by their forebears? Perhaps of we, as men of tomorrow, stare down the beast of antiquated modes of thought, and renounce the divide, we can begin to heal the torn heart of this land of liberty.

Blinky boys perfectly encapsulates Lampyridae without further agitating the partisnal wound we currently have to live with. Do your part ad an American and pave the way for future peace among Americans!
