The site World Star Hip Hop continuously promotes and puts forth negative imagery of minorities specifically, and people in general. It is used as a forum to promote ignorance, violence, homophobia, and illegal activities. Furthermore, it takes no responsibility for the videos that it shows, and has no accountability system for what is uploaded and shared.

This website is filled with images and videos which dehumanize and oppress women, promote social inequalities and prejudice, and conform to negative stereotypes of minorities, including, but not limited to sexual, physical, and verbal abuse, drug use, indecent exposure under the guise of "urban media."

This is not the only imagery that the website shows, and to suggest otherwise would be false. There are also several videos regarding social justice issues, political interests, and cultural debates. However, these videos do not negate the negativity that is consistently and persistently published without any form of accountability from the host.

As there is an audience for this particular website, we are calling for a restructuring of the website, making the website more accountable for the media that is brought to the public under the Worldstarhiphop.com heading. However, if such a balance is not acceptable, then we are calling for the disbandment and shutdown of the website until a time in which it can find a system by which the videos, images and messages of the website can be screened, as  to not promote stereotypes, prejudice, racism, homophobia, gender equality, substance abuse, and violence.
