Habberley Road in Kidderminster is a dangerous place if you're a pedestrian! Parents walking their children to school are asking for your help in urging Worcestershire County Council to consider putting some crossing provision in near the junctions with St John's Avenue and Manor Avenue.

Vision is very restricted, especially when crossing from Franche to Habberley due to the bend in the road. You cannot see the vehicles approaching in either direction with adequate time to safely cross. At busy times such as the school run and rush hour the volume and speed of the traffic make it a scary place to cross, and if you have young children with you, or are unable to cross very quickly the risk of an accident is considerable.

We appeal to Worcestershire County Council to urgently address this issue for the safety of all residents of Franche and Habberley.
