You may not realize it but you take so much for granted. Children in poverty would kill to have food, water and a good education like you do but you still complain that your iPhone is too old. But you can help these poverty-stricken children.

If I told you that you have the ability to save a child in poverty's life would you do it? You have this ability every day all you need to do is sign this petition. Millions of people in poverty die each year starving, cold, and alone. This needs to change, why should you have three meals a day every day but kids born into poverty cannot eat for weeks. We need to lift these children out of poverty so everyone can live a fair long happy life instead of the wealthy living to one hundred and the poor only living to ten. 4000 people die of poverty a day making 1.5 million people in poverty die per year, fifty percent of these tragic deaths are children under the age of five.

Removing poverty from our modern day is key to having a functioning society where everyone is treated equally. To do this we need to all help eradicate poverty, everyone can make a difference. To keep moving forward and progressing as a society we need to first make sure everyone is treated equally. The first step to achieving this is to remove poverty and we can do this by working together to set up food banks, donation centers and shops that donate leftovers. There are many upsides of having no poverty in a functioning society such as everyone treated equally, no hunger, and a happy community to name a few. Before covid-19 we as a community were getting very close to removing poverty but covid has come and put many more people into poverty. This means that we have to work together to make our community fair, equal and without any people in poverty.

To help this change we all need to sign this petition. this will allow our petition to be seen by major supermarkets and food companies. This will influence them to make a change and instead of throw out food that is 3 days away from expiry donate it to save poor people's lives.

In conclusion, innocent people go starving, freezing and alone every night but you can help them get back on their feet. Every signature counts and could help save people and there is no reason not to. Do you really want kids to die knowing you could have changed their fate?
