Woolworths has banned plastic bags in their checkouts but continue to provide single use bags for fruits and vegetables. Woolworths hasn't even provided better alternatives to these bags and wrapping or addressed the issue. Not many people are aware of how these bags can cause a big impact on the environment and this needs to change. Woolworths, ban single use plastic bags used for bagging fruits and vegetables and use better, more environmentally friendly alternatives such as reusable cloth bags or see-through mesh bags. Many whole food shops as well as ALDI (Which are selling these bags) have made the change and so should Woolworths. 

Our environment is in a dire, fragile state and big corporations such as Woolworths have a huge impact on our environment and by them forcing consumers to stop using plastic vegetable bags, it will make a long lasting change for the better.
