The Issue

Woodrow Wilson Middle School faces severe traffic bottlenecks because concrete barriers block alternate neighborhood access points at Broad Boulevard, Manor Boulevard, and Gloria Avenue. This forces all school traffic onto a single route—Woodrow Wilson Drive. Our FBLA chapter's research reveals that 76% of students face daily arrival delays of 10+ minutes, and 75.5% of parents are late to work, creating dangerous congestion that compromises safety and blocks emergency vehicles.

The Solution & Request: The solution simply requires removing these existing barriers to open alternative access routes and safely distribute traffic volume across multiple neighborhood roads for a minimal cost of $3,800. We sign this petition in the hope that the Township Council will authorize a 90-Day Trial Program to remove the barriers. If traffic flow actively improves and safety conditions are successfully maintained during this monitored trial, we request that these neighborhood access routes remain permanently open.
