Sign petition to stop variance to build 44 new apartments in the Eagleview Town Center.

The Issue

Attention Eagleview Residents:

You may have seen or heard recently of the land variance the Hankin Group is seeking for the last open space land in the Eagleview Town Center. We are hoping to get your signature on this petition to stop the approval of the 44-unit apartment building that will sit directly across the street and back up to the second block of LiveWork units on Wharton Boulevard. This building will sit higher than the LiveWork buildings, and will totally obstruct the view of the Town Center from those units and from many other homes in the vicinity.

The apartment building will create parking annoyances for the retail, restaurant, LiveWork residents and residents of the carriage homes on Cricket Lane, Gramercy Lane, and Perimeter Drive. While there will be 44 parking spaces under the apartments, ordinances require 2.5 parking spaces per apartment. If the apartment variance is approved, these residents will park in the spaces now used for all the establishments and residents mentioned above.

Members of The Hankin Group emphatically said at the Uwchlan Township meeting last week that they are seeking the variance to "improve the quality of the community for the residents of Eagleview." We do not agree, and do not see one benefit for the residents and others who come to Eagleview to enjoy the Town Center.

Please sign our petition today. A decision will be made on or before February 10, 2020. Also, please share on all of your social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Thank you very much!
