The West Long Branch EMS has been providing 24/7 volunteer ambulance services to the residents of West Long Branch since 1931. We are a 50-member, all-volunteer squad operating as a non-profit entity, working in partnership with the Borough of West Long Branch and the West Long Branch Police and Fire Departments. 

The West Long Branch Mayor and Borough Council are currently attempting to dissolve WLB EMS, without cause and without justification. They want to divert emergency response responsibilities to an out-of-town agency that will likely charge West Long Branch Borough and West Long Branch patients for transportation reimbursement. 

A resolution to dissolve the West Long Branch EMS is likely to be considered by the Borough Council on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. We need the help of the West Long Branch community to demonstrate support for WLB EMS and to tell Mayor Tucci and the West Long Branch Borough Council not to dissolve the Squad. We need your help to SAVE WLB EMS.
