Sarah Frederick is an excellent teacher who goes above and beyond. Parents who know her have had nothing but raving reviews about her performance as a teacher and the difference she has made in the lives of the children she teaches. She strives to engage the students and nurtures a learning environment to help each child excel... isn't this what OUR school system needs? Isn't THIS what our children deserve?!

I'm saddened to say that Miss Frederick was recently forced to resign by a new principal at James River Elementary School. She was singled out, given poor reviews, bullied into resignation. Her career was threatened as a teacher if she did not do so after he refused to renew her contract.

Don't let our school system make the mistake of letting her get away. Sign this petition today to let OUR VOICE BE HEARD! We need good teachers who are excited about teaching in our schools. Our children deserve to have educators who care about them as a whole and who are willing to go that extra mile. Sarah Frederick is that kind of teacher. 

WJCC Public Schools should do the right thing and ask Sarah Frederick to reconsider her forced resignation and renew her contract so that she can continue mentoring, teaching and shaping our children into life-long learners.
