To WJCC Public Schools and Superintendent Constantino,

This year Warhill High School has seen a lot of change.  The placement of an entirely new administration brought the most change and much skepticism with it. Of course it is normal for new things to cause skepticism. It is also normal for skepticism to fade as time goes on. This has not been the case with the feelings towards our new administration.  The school year is almost over, and the students and teachers are still as skeptic towards the administration as they were on day one. That is not okay.  Warhill has seen the change of administrations multiple times in the school’s history, and each of those times Warhill has continued to function properly.  With that being said, it is clear that the problem does not lie with the teachers, but with the administration.  They have made the environment at Warhill hostile and tense. The teachers feel undervalued, afraid to express their opinions and fearful for their jobs.  The fact that students have noticed and taken interest in speaking up for and defending their teachers shows the seriousness of the situation. We know that the movement of teachers from our school is not coming from Principal Carroll alone, but from you and those at the central office.This letter has been written on behalf of the majority of Warhill High School students, to let you know that we disagree with the decisions being made, and feel that such drastic change should not be allowed against the will of so many. Our teachers are not the problem.  They deserve to be treated better. They deserve a fair administration and a good working environment. They deserve to be fought for, and that is exactly what the students of Warhill intend on doing.  We hope that you take our opinion into consideration. We are at school every day and know what the administration and movement of teachers is causing. Warhill has always been a school with high spirit, morale, and unity.  Firing, moving and replacing our teachers while leaving the administration in place will not bring those qualities back.  We respectfully ask that you reevaluate the situation. Fix our administration and leave our teachers and counselors alone. Please.
