One of the most incompetent of services provided by Wiltshire Council is Wiltshire Safeguarding Team (MASH).
The not only do not investigate the reports of genuine safeguarding concerns but choose to target the Victims.
Part of the problem is that they are inadequately staffed, but the major problem is that they act as Judge & Jury without properly checking the facts (leaving it to the Victims to organise.
From my own and many of my vulnerable clients point of view, they have already made up their minds when they get bogus claims from the perpetrators and refuse to take evidence from multiple witnesses.
They are only concerned with scoring Brownie Points for pretending they have caught the big cats, when they have actually been conned by the sneaky Cougars (Sociopaths).
This is why there is so little progress in dealing with Domestic Violence, Child Abuse and the targeting of Vulnerable Children and Elderly.
They prefer to listen to the slick claims of the con-artists who are seeking ton cover their tracks (those who speak their language) and ignore the distressed expressions of the victims.
Wiltshire Council is not alone in this, I have supported the victims of Domestic & Child Abuse for years and some of the worst offenders are these slick tongued Sociopaths that these Incompetents chose to believe.
I am absolutely disgusted with the Wiltshire MAs Team for Young People (Anton Hammond & Company) and the MASH Team for the vulnerable Elderly, who have ignored all the concerns raised and the complaints of their failures.
People in the Community (Young and Old) are more vulnerable as a result of their failure to engage with the real Safeguarding Issues and do not understand the principle of 'Active Safeguarding' (a duty of us all).
As a result they make flawed judgments from the comfort of their Office Swivel Chairs, using a tick-box method of deciding on decisions from emails and phone calls.
They never investigate or interview witnesses themselves and ignore all witness and factual evidence voluntarily provided. As a result, people remain at risk and sometimes their incompetent decisions (and inaction) inflames the risk and often generates ne risks.
I have may stories to demonstrate this amd 14 witnesses to support this, along with many ex-staff of Wiltshire Council that can corroborate such failures. Those still employed fear to speak up for fear of disciplinary action and possible sacking for 'Bringing the Council into Disrepute (which they do very well for themselves quite frankly).
Please sign my petition and pass it on to members of your family and friends to do the same. These failures and are dangerous for Staff and Clients alike and their failures add to the of Anti-Social Behaviour we are experiencing.
