This building represents history to Willingboro. The building was named after our 35th president who visited Willingboro in 1960 and represented change and opportunity, which is why most people moved to Willingboro. Since 1966 over 10,000 students graduated from John F Kennedy High School and when the school closed the community center chose to change the name to the Kennedy Center, which is fitting for the community. Changing the name from Kennedy Center to (President) Obama Center is removing an inspirational icon and changing the history of the town.
