Change the plans for the future location of Jerri's Kidz LLC to a more appropriate classroom.

Change the plans for the future location of Jerri's Kidz LLC to a more appropriate classroom.
The Issue
Williams Bay Parents:
More than 50% of us used Jerri Laidley's before and after-school daycare last year. Most of us can appreciate the ease of dropping off our kids (and then picking them up) right in front of her door.
Unfortunately, the new elementary school plans have excluded Jerri from the new building. Instead, she has been assigned a small room in the existing building – one that reduces her capacity and, in Jerri's opinion, makes it difficult to comply with state requirements regarding the safety and care of her kids. This is because of the co-mingling of elementary-aged kids with high-school students at different times throughout the day, the distance from the daycare to the playground, the distance from the playground to the restrooms during after school hours, and the safe transportation of kids to many different classrooms to and from the daycare room.
THIS PETITION is to show the Williams Bay School Board that you support a motion to re-open the design plans for the interior portion of the new elementary school (specifically excluding the exterior walls of the building) to create a space that will allow Jerri's Kidz, LLC to continue operating as it does today, specifically providing for the provisions under the WI state childcare license DCF251 at her current capacity or greater. Since the daycare staff cares for students within the ages of 4-12, it is reasonable that the program should be situated within the elementary portion of the school.
(See map above. The proposed interior plans for the school place Jerri's Kidz in the dark blue room labeled "Before/After school program space") located in the existing high school). Also visit the school's website for more details and information:

Signing this petition will give your school board a better idea of just how many parents are in favor of this change. This matter is on the agenda for the February 2015 board meeting, so this petition will help to carry the change through.
