For too long have the LGBTQ+ youth been ignored, we demand change. Myself, as well as fellow classmates, friends, and even teachers, have been faced with discrimination. We demand that we can show our pride in our identity, to the same extent that others can show their pride in religion or their patriotism. We demand that our flag is allowed to fly, we demand that we can feel safe in our schools, we demand that we can be represented, we demand that we can be equal. My voice today is a combination of those from my school East Hall High School but think of all the other voices in Hall County and even beyond that that aren't being heard. 

Some of the greatest issues I found are as followed:

*Staff showing discrimination of LGBTQ+ students and even other staff

*Bullying being either ignored or not reported 

*LGBTQ+ students not feeling safe or accepted

*The lack of LGBTQ+ representation (From Health Class to History and even in the Theatre department)
