The littering in Colchester is substantial and I believe this can quickly be avoided by local MP's creating more littering bans and recycling bins around Colchester to increase. 

Personally, I find littering to be pathetic, easily avoided, detrimental to the environment and, quite simply, an eyesore. The environmental apathy around this town is immense and I believe we should take action immediately against the packaging pandemonium in our beloved town. Litter is not only a pavement nuisance but it also will pile up on our beaches for countless animals to consume or suffocate from. Don't you want these innocent sea-creatures to survive?

It may be an inconvenience to not throw your trash on the floor for others to pick up but it is critical that littering dramatically decreases. Plastic alone is responsible for up to 13% of our planet's total carbon budget. Every greenhouse gas emitted from your plastic water bottle or plastic Tesco bag will contribute to global warming until we eventually only have a matter of single-digit years left.
