It lacks a fundamental understanding of Macrobiotics and its role in health, recovery from illness and its usefulness in daily life for practitioners. 

Because of this and because of Wikipedia's large influence, Macrobiotics suffers from the negative image Wikipedia portrays whenever people research Macrobiotics online, since Wikipedia has a top spot in search engines. 

We, Macrobiotic educators, professionals, practitioners and supporters, wish to write an accurate representation of what Macrobiotics is, based on many decades of lived experience and first-hand intimate knowledge of the Macrobiotic way of life, its effectiveness, sphere of influence and its place in the modern world on the Wikipedia Macrobiotic page entry. 

We respectfully ask that Wikipedia writers allow these changes to be made to accurately represent the Macrobiotic movement, philosophy, understanding and history and to be written by those who have dedicated their lives to the Macrobiotic way of life, such as Macrobiotic teachers, counselors and life-long practitioners.
