Lisa Nandy MP Wigan - Her blog on "Devo Manc"

Wigan's MP Lisa Nandy has come out expressing serious concern about "Devo Manc". It is well worth a read. Regarding the deal brokered she said "But surely we shouldn’t accept that there is only a binary choice between an unaccountable structure in London or another in Manchester." Lisa also reveals the townships that make up Wigan Borough could have an imposed unelected Mayor of Manchester until 2019 and the bureaucratic change costing £13.5 million.
