I've had several close calls while biking because drivers seemed oblivious or indifferent to my presence on the road, even when I had the right of way. Biking should be a safe, eco-friendly option, but inadequate bike lanes and inattentive drivers create perilous conditions for cyclists and pedestrians alike.

The bike lanes in our community are simply not wide enough, forcing cyclists into traffic lanes where they compete with cars for space. This isn't just frustrating—it's dangerous.
