Mike Rodee has insulted teachers, students, and public education in general numerous times. He resigned last school year in protest against trans rights and protections that were passed in our schools, but later changed his mind.

Last night he claimed that students are not learning, that remote learning is a waste, and told teachers and parents not to contact him unless it was something “new.” 

When an elected official no longer cares for his or her constituents, it’s time to step down. 

We formally request that Rodee be removed from the Board of Education with Wichita Public Schools, effective immediately.
