WHY IS GOD'S OWN COUNTRY, DOG'S OWN HELL??

Following the recent dog bites in Kerala, India, people have started taking their own ILLEGAL actions and are mass killing hundreds of stray dogs in Kerala. These killings are happening against the government’s orders, even when there is an option to sterilize the strays and give them proper vaccinations for rabies.
But it’s not just the dogs with rabies that have been a result of animal cruelty in Kerala. A pet dog named Bruno was also beaten up and killed by three youths in Kerala, just for fun! Everyone must have also heard of the incident which went viral, of a hungry pregnant elephant who made the mistake of trusting humans and eating a pineapple filled with fire crackers. She died right after eating that!
But what happens to those who are at fault? The ones at fault face no issues as the penalty for beating or killing dogs in India starts at around 10/-fine, extending up to 1000/-fine maximum in severe cases! But are these defaulters really the ones to blame if our government has rules of such limited imprisonment or fine, for killing of animals?
Is this what humanity has come to? Is this how animals will always be treated in Kerala? Or are we going to take a stand?
Let us be the voice for the voiceless. Let us bring back the good old phrase, “A dog is a man’s best friend.” Let us make the people at fault accountable for what they’ve done and continue to do so, not just in Kerala but in other places as well! Let us think of our own pets, if we have any, and our fierce need to protect them! Animal cruelty is extremely wrong and not speaking up about it is even worse! Enough is enough! It’s time for us to demand justice!
Share this petition to as much people as you can because if one day it's happening in Kerala, the other it can be happening in our cities and to our pets too..
