Many don’t know this, after cats and dogs, rabbits are the 3rd most common household pet, with over 6-9 million companion rabbits in the U.S alone.

Please understand that rabbits are intergrated into the lives of millions of homes throughout the United States and Wordwide for the same reasons that cats and dogs are.

Domestic rabbits should be viewed in the same light as any other companion animal, and given the same respect in our society that a cat or dog would get.

The thought of treating a companion animal like food is the same as veiwing your child as property.

We are asking that you please stop selling rabbits in your stores.

There is also much more at stake than the lives of these poor rabbits. There are also growing concerns over the overuse of land, water and fuel resources to produce animal products. There are numerous health issues associated with the consumption of meat.

Once we start on a path of fulfilling short term trends, we begin to lose sight of the long term effects of our actions. We need to take a stance on doing what is right for the longevity of the planet and humans and non-human creatures alike.
