We have seen many entrepreneurs and businesses, especially start-ups and small businesses, financially impacted by COVID-19, some of whom are WeWork members whose membership and its associated services cannot be fully used during such time of social distancing and strict measures being taken by the relevant authorities in their respective jurisdiction. 

However, there has been little to no response from the senior management at WeWork regarding any intention to offer rebates or waivers for the membership fees paid by WeWork members globally. In fact, full fees continue to be charged as of April 2020 despite countless request from WeWork members globally to seek clarification and assurance on whether they are still able to use their membership and its associated services to the full extent of the membership agreement, but to no avail. 

Until such time when the membership and its associated services can be fully restored, we believe that it is the responsibility of the senior management at WeWork to account for any shortfall based on the membership agreement of every WeWork member alike, regardless of their account value. 

In line with all necessary efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we urge the senior management to also take full responsibility of the welfare and safety of all WeWork employees, who should not be forced to work at their respective WeWork locations and should have their rights to refuse any work during such uncertain time.

To all members of public, we urge you to take this opportunity to support us and take a firm stand against every unfair practice by large corporations during such time when individuals and small businesses are most vulnerable.
