Westwood College - STOP RESTRICTING STUDENTS' SPACE

Westwood College - STOP RESTRICTING STUDENTS' SPACE
The Issue
Our school cannot even afford heating but has spent thousands of pounds on metal construction fences.
Our headteacher has decided to buy roughly 100 pieces of metal fences to place around the school grounds. This severely reduces the space students have during break and lunch and forces us all into the tennis courts, a small garden, or an equally small canteen. There are about 750 students!!
Previously, students were allowed onto the field and inside Old Hall, however due to litter and safeguarding issues, this space has now been limited and even closed at breaks and lunches. Therefore, if students need to use the toilets, they only use Old Hall toilet for the first and last 5 minutes of break and lunch time. We can use New Hall toilets but there are only 10 cubicles (in the girls toilets) - half of which are broken. It is ridiculous to suggest that the entire school use these limited amounts of toilets.
Additionally, without access to the old Hall during lunch time, only a small amout of students can sit in the small, cramped, and extremely noisy canteen. The majority will have to go to the tennis courts to have lunch, standing in the cold and rain in winter.
We have also been banned from the playing fields during break and lunch. Why have so much space and not even use it? Many students play football during break and lunch, but are now forced to go onto the tennis courts (where everyone else is so there isn't much space). Exercise improves mental health and concentration! But we're deprived of the opportunity to run around during break and lunch.
This is a school which should prioritise student's well-being and education, rather than extreme discipline. The school should spend their money on more important things, such as putting more bins around school grounds and having them emptied every day, rather than metal fences. After all, it's a school, not a prison!
(note: I would like to clarify that I am in fact over the age of 16. I turned 16 in September!!)
