Shut down Western Milling horse & cattle feed for good

Shut down Western Milling horse & cattle feed for good
The Issue
Western Milling is a company that's been providing our livestock, horses and cattle alike, feed for years. But the question has arisen, should we continue to trust Western Milling with the lives of our pets?
In February of 2016, several tragic incidents occurred in several farms, concerning the untimely death of, in total, over 50 horses. In a stable in California, thirteen horses died, and all from the same cause - their food. They had all consistently been feeding on Western Milling's food, which, after a lawsuit, gave lab results indicating it had been tainted with monensin, an additive that is often put in cattle feed, but is incredibly toxic when consumed by a horse.
After discovering this, the farm realized that the rest of the horses that had been feeding on Western Milling were doomed. There was no known cure to the poison, and it was only a matter of time before over thirty more horses would have passed, including children's prize show ponies.
"I just try to stay by his side and... help him and... tell him it's okay," said a heartbroken young girl at the Californian stable, who knew her pony's days were numbered.
In my opinion, we should never trust Western Milling to nourish our horses again. How can we after such a terrible discovery has been made? I propose that Western Milling should be shut down, to prevent any more casualties in the future. The poisoned horses suffering from seizures and agonizing attacks. The first horse to go, a beautiful dark bay mare by the name of Suzie, crashed through a fence, overcome in a fit from the poisoning. How can we ever feed our horses from the same company whose carelessness resulted in this death, and many more like it?
By signing this petition, you agree that Western Milling should be shut down, and should no longer continue to threaten our horse's lives.
