The City of Bluefield,WV has a long history of harassment of people who care for or try to improve the living conditions of animals whom are Feral namely Cats. They refuse to address major issues. Like drug dealing or homes that are falling down. Not repairing the infustructure in the City. They use the animals as a tool to deflect the true issues. Harassment of individuals who don't ignore there ignorant backwoods behavior and less than professional dealings within the City. They are targeted by the City Police Department and Code Enforcement. They are murdering any Feral Cats and charging anyone found feeding them with a misdemeanor charge. If you own a dog on your property and the dog is in a fenced in area and growls and barks at them. They charge you with a vicious dog charge. So you get criminal convictions unless you fight them. Stating if you don't want to watch them starve. Then your over there three animal limit per household that never used to be enforced until Dane Rideout took over as a City Manager. He refuses to see that any animal has rights or people residing in the City. We need to petition to have all animal codes changed to be in line with the State Laws. Not there own selfish Laws that they use to earn money off the poor and the animals they love. Please sign this petition to stop them.
