There are so many reasons why this skatepark needs lights and the parks and recreation of west valley have done us skateboarders the injustice of not delivering on their part.West Valley city skate park is currently the largest skate park in Utah and it doesn’t have lights that work.They are three small light post that don’t turn on at all and are in the worst areas that anybody would need a light post there.We the skateboard community as a whole in west valley think that they should rebuild the lighting system in the skate park to be more accessible and have lights that actually work and provide safety and visibility while skating.There’s lights everywhere around the baseball field the basketball courts the tennis courts and the lounging area there’s no reason not to have A couple of lights at the skatepark. Not everyone can skate in the mornings and evenings espiecially with daylight savings in the fall the lights would help us a lot and Will ultimately make the skatepark better and make the people enjoying it proud of the people that are hearing us.We want to be heard and taken seriously we want this to happen bc this is our home when we need a place to skate we can rely on the biggest park in Utah to do that for us.
