Good morning as many people would be aware the entrance to The Bewbush Academy has quite a lot of grass. Yes it does have a pathway but it’s very narrow for the capacity of people that need to access the school. In the current climate, social distancing is not possible without walking on the grass which is now mud . This makes it dangerous especially for the children as well as the parents/carers and anyone with mobility issues! The local Council came a while back and got rid of the bushes obscuring the entrance which has resulted in uneven and muddy ground around the school gate . I’ve personally lived in bewbush for nearly 20 years and have been a parent that has sent and still sends children to The Bewbush Academy. Over the years this problem has got worse . Not only does the school gate service access to the main school but also to the Tots pre school as well . So there for I’m proposing that Crawley Borough Council come and convert the grass/muddy area into a bigger more convenient and safer Pathed area for the users .  This will help with safer social distancing measures at drop off and pick up times and avoid potential accidents that the current conditions of this area can cause. So I’m kindly asking for the support and backup from our community to action this petition many thanks .
