The London Transgender Clinic provides support for hundreds if not thousands of transgender people.They allow people to become who they truly are which improves all areas of life whether it's mental wellbeing or self-confidence.

The NHS services available to transgender people is extremely limited and waiting times can be as long as 4 years. This means people have to suffer without any support at all until they're seen as most GP's are uneducated in this topic and refuse to help. Even once someone has been seen by a clinic they often have to wait another 6 months to a year before being able to start their physical transition due to the waiting times.

The London Transgender Clinic has tried to become an NHS service but have been refused. This is a petition to allow the clinic to become an NHS service so that many more people can access this service. By making this an NHS service there will be another clinic available and cause the waiting times for clinics all across the country to shorten.
