West Ham Utd have quite rightly fined Defender Kurt Zouma £250k following the outcry from the UK public after video footage emerged showing multiple incidents of animal abuse. 

An investigation is underway by the RSPCA which may result in further punishments including fines, however they will be much smaller than the amount West Ham Utd have just fined him. This is by the way 2 weeks wages for the footballer. This investigation like every investigation the RSPCA carries out will be costly. 

West Ham Utd FC should do the right thing and donate the fine directly to the RSPCA to assist with all the wonderful work they have carried out on a daily basis since 1824. The RSPCA is the reason we have such high animals welfare standards in England and Wales which means incidents like this don’t go unchallenged.
