16 years ago, West Chester University hired Kassie Bellaver to be Women’s Head Volleyball Coach. From then until now, many team members have been mentally abused, including three from this year alone. Multiple girls have even headed to the athletic department with their experiences, only to be questioned and completely ignored. This coach makes her players feel insecure about themselves and has no problem bringing them down. She only focuses and builds certain players she favors and ignores the rest of the team. Also, her lack of knowledge on volleyball is ridiculously low, the fact that she was hired here is appalling. She only lets the starting lineup practice and makes the rest of the team watch purposely, showing them they will never have a chance. She leaves up to one or two girls out during drills at practice willingly, due to her lack of faith in them. She goes from playing mind games, to telling girls they will never have a chance on the court even at practice, no matter how hard their work ethic is! This coach needs to be fired immediately! Many girls have had their college experience ruined due to this terrible woman. Please sign this petition and help the volleyball girls get a new head coach who actually cares about their WHOLE team.
