CLICK HERE to see the official Ada County Central District Health recommendations for school re-openings. At this time, the West Ada School District is operating at a "Yellow" level, which includes "limited/staggered use of school buildings
with physical distancing and sanitation". According to the CDH recommendations, those operating at the "Yellow" level should have a maximum case rate of 20.0.  

Currently, our case rate in Ada County alone is 59.7- almost TRIPLE the CDH recommendation for our current operational level. This is why COVID-19 is ripping through our communities like a tornado. Allowing the schools in the West Ada School District to continue to operate at their current levels despite skyrocketing case rates in Ada County is bordering criminal negligence- and it needs to be stopped. Today my little brother, a Centennial High School student, was confirmed to have COVID-19. Kids can get it, kids can spread it, and kids need to be protected. 

Sign this petition to stop in person operations in West Ada School District, and force them to follow recommendations based on scientific evidence provided by the Central District Health. Based on these recommendations students, faculty, and their families will be protected while we work as a community to get the spread of COVID-19 under control.
