Teresa Florindi, a teacher at Port Chester Middle School under the leadership on the Principal Patrick Swift created an assignment to design a slave.

School officials in Port Chester are calling a post that appeared on Facebook citing an extra credit assignment for some of the district's middle school students "disturbing," "offensive" and "inappropriate."

She still works there and so does he. 

Someone who creates an assignment like this should be fired as well as the school leader who didn't support a school mostly composed of minority students. This is systemic racism at its finest.

Schools in Westchester should be free of this systemic racism. And no teacher or school leader should be allowed to continue to teacher or lead the youth of Port Chester and its community with this mind set. It is unfair to student population.
